Teaching and Learning Services (TLS) Trainings

Welcome to the TLS Trainings portal. To view specific courses and enrol, log-in using your TUDelft single sign-on (top-right).

We offer a range of courses and workshops to help teachers, PhDs and student assistants to improve their teaching both online and on campus.

UTQ/BKO

The University Teaching Qualification (UTQ) programme provides new university teaching staff with the opportunity to develop competencies necessary to carry out their current and future teaching duties. On completing the programme, participants should meet the requirements of the university teaching qualification.

The UTQ trajectory contains 5 modules:

•    DEVELOP
•    SUPERVISE
•    TEACH
•    ASSESS
•    FINAL ASSESSMENT

The UTQ Trajectory always has to start with DEVELOP or SUPERVISE. DEVELOP is a prerequisite course for TEACH and ASSESS.

Each UTQ course is practical and directly relates to your teaching or supervision tasks. The full UTQ programme is completed by writing a final proof of competence and an interview with the assessment committee.

You can find all our course dates here and additional information about UTQ here on the TUDelft Intranet.

For temporary and part-time teachers, you can also choose our Supervision and Assessment Principles course.

If you have completed your UTQ (or support UTQ), you are also eligible for the Senior Assessment Qualification course.
